The silver one is amazing, but the gold one absolutely stunning

Last year I did a one to one jewellery making class with Caroline and had the most amazing time! She is so patient and knowledgeable meaning I learnt so much. I was a complete novice but came away with two beautiful rings which I now wear everyday.

I found Caroline’s work via a beautiful oak leaf pendant given to me in December and enquired about a long term project idea I’d had to see if she could help - and she did!
I wanted to create a trio of tiny woodland leaves which would represent a characteristic of each of my children - something fun and bespoke that reflected them and my love of the woods. Caroline had already created a tiny double-sided oak leaf, so the project was to develop a birch and beech pendant of a tiny shape and size.
Caroline has kept me posted all through the design/CAD stage and finally I met her at her workshop to finalise the designs. A beautiful, handmade trio of leaves:
Oak (the tallest and slow growing), birch (the pioneer and giver) and beech (the queen of the woods and woodland mycorrhizal socialite!). I have all three on my lovely silver chain and each of my children has one of their own to treasure.
I have no hesitation in recommending Caroline’s work for commissions.

Caroline created two beautiful pieces for me from sentimental sterling silver. A oak leaf charm using some of my Grandmother’s old sterling silver charms.

Plus a custom fern design charm cast from a patch of early in the season fern I had discovered with a friend at Ashridge woodland. The piece was created from the sterling silver placeholder engagement ring my husband gave me, which was too big for me to wear without resizing. Now it is in a form I can wear everyday with the emerald from the ring set as a beautiful additional charm on the pendant chain.

Caroline was really friendly and helpful with designing and making jewellery that was personal to me. She spent time making sure everything fit just right. Plus kindly carried out work resizing a bracelet I already had.

I would recommend Caroline’s jewellery to anyone who loves natural forms and plant life. Her designs are stunning and have a wonderful connection to the chilterns.
